This position is a key role to the growth success for Alternative Technology and specifically the success of the outbound marketing efforts. The primary role will be to qualify acquired leads and transition those leads to the sales team. Other responsibilities will be and not limited to managing the CRM data integrity.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
CRM Database Management:
Manages CRM data integrity to ensure existing customers and potential customer information is accurate and complete for use by the marketing department for mailings, product promotions and data mining activities.
Lead management:
- Send requested information to potential customers immediately
- Capture all inquiries in CRM database for ongoing nurturing and qualification
- Add all leads list to CRM database, follow-up and qualify
- Qualify sales leads before sending them to salespeople
- Distribute qualified leads to sales contacts as they are identified
- Nurture or cultivate not-yet-qualified leads
- Measure and track the results of sales lead generation, cultivation and sales follow-up programs
Communication:
Using CRM database, follow-up with target list to communicate promotion, mailing, NPI’s or anything else that is targeted to be communicated

- Entry-level position. Strong candidates have a career path into a sales position.
- Must have a friendly and convincing demeanor over the phone
- Some sales/telemarketing experience a plus. Should have the confidence to cold call
- Should have some knowledge of sales and marketing and how a CRM database is formulated and used
- Must be a self-starter and have the ability to manage multiple tasks
Not required, but useful:
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in marketing
