Bill Botti, President and Chief Operating Officer, Alternative Technology Group ARROW ENTERPRISE COMPUTING SOLUTIONS

As President and Chief Operating Officer of the Arrow ECS Alternative Technology Group, the leading specialty distributor of virtualization, security and server-based computing solutions, William Botti leads a dynamic organization serving VARs and Solution Providers in the United States and Canada. Botti joined Arrow ECS through the acquisition of Alternative Technology in 2006.
Botti brings a wealth of channel experience and knowledge to Alternative Technology that comes from a 20-year career as a VAR working with vendors and other reseller partners. Recognized as a channel industry leader, Botti founded three technology companies that each enjoyed record profitability and became acquisition targets by national players. Botti has served as Chairman of the Reseller's Advisory Council for Citrix, Novell, and Axcent. Botti exhibits a crystal clear understanding of VAR capabilities and requirements and what vendor programs work best within the VAR community.
Tom Zorn, Executive Vice President

Tom Zorn cofounded Alternative Technology in 1986 with Ron Tatum, Chairman, and has been the visionary behind Alternative Technology’s corporate, technology and vendor strategies. In addition to being an industry spokesperson and commentator on issues and trends in security and infrastructure sectors, Zorn is responsible for identifying and engaging new vendors to complement Alternative Technology’s line card. During his tenure at Alternative Technology, Zorn created and led every department and directed the growth of all major company initiatives. This included conducting seminars across the U.S. and Canada to educate resellers and key accounts on thin-client computing and network infrastructure.
Zorn began his career at Burroughs Corporation in 1974, selling mini-computers, mainframes, and communications peripherals. Since his tenure at Burroughs, Zorn has been involved in the distribution and direct sales of computers and connectivity products to a broad client base, nationwide.
Tom Zorn demonstrates an excellent ability to identify new technologies and pair them with complementary products, in order to create whole solutions for the end user.
Michael Wallace, Chief Financial Officer

Mike Wallace joined Alternative Technology in December 1999. He brings many years of experience in defining value-added financial applications, which he is implementing within our distribution channel. His sound yet flexible finance plans and programs have created winning business propositions with our VAR customers.
Mike was with Cochlear Corporation for 13 years, where he achieved the position of Corporate Director and Vice President of Finance for North America. In 1998, Mike left Cochlear to run his own consultancy that focused on developing new business models in the medical device industry and reimbursement models for new medical technology.
John Stubbs, Vice President, Business Development Strategies

John Stubbs joined Alternative Technology in 2003 to create and develop solutions to advance our value proposition to vendor and VAR customers. John’s extensive experience in both operations and technology is evident in the successful customer programs he has masterminded and launched for us, which include Security Services, the Compliance Reseller Program, and GSA Schedule. John’s newest initiatives specifically address HSPD-12 and two-factor online banking. These programs offer a consultative sales approach and total product solutions within their categories, providing greater knowledge and product options to our customers.
From 1983 to 1992, John was General Manager/Owner of three Entre Computer Centers, operating from North Carolina to Alabama. He served as Vice President of Operations for regional systems integrators in the northern Virginia area. In 1994, he joined CIBER as Vice President and General Manager of the company’s Edison, New Jersey branch office, where he led CIBER’s Network and Security Practices. He also launched the HIPAA Initiative—a key corporate endeavor aimed at assisting clients to achieve HIPAA compliance—and CIBER’s Homeland Security Initiative—a major program empowering state, federal, and local governmental entities to strengthen their security efforts.
Lee Fawcett, Vice President Technical Services

Lee Fawcett joined Alternative Technology in March 2006, bringing a diverse career background and excellent track record with over 25 years experience in the Communications and Technology industries. Lee oversees the strategic development of the company’s Technical Services Department including: Field Services, Support Services, Education Services and Security Services. Lee’s focus is to enhance Alternative Technology’s business relationship with technical services resellers, increase department certification levels including Level III expertise in all areas, and to expand the type and scope of services offerings.
Lee’s executive leadership experience includes Professional Services sales and business development, Customer Program Management, Customer Service and Technical Support, Systems Integration, Product Management, Manufacturing and Software Development. Over the period of 1983 to 1994, Lee served in multiple executive level positions for AT&T Paradyne. From 1994 to 2003, Lee worked for AT&T Network Systems, and spin off Lucent Technologies, as Vice President of Professional Services and Vice President Customer Programs. Lee’s distinguished career also includes over seven years of service as a United States Air Force Pilot.
Nancy Gapter, Vice President Marketing

Nancy Gapter is Vice President Marketing at Alternative Technology, the leading specialty distributor of security and server-based computing solutions. In this role Gapter serves as the company’s chief marketing strategy and communications officer, responsible for directing corporate and product marketing strategies, internal and external communication, vendor relations, and product line growth. Since joining in the company in January 2004, Gapter initiated a company re-branding strategy and campaign based on the “Follow-the-Wire” theme and concept, re-structured and re-launched Alternative Advantage Partner Program, and established a marketing and product management organization to support Vendor market development. Gapter’s creative vision has provided Alternative Technology with a fresh and exciting Corporate Identity, including: Web Site www.alttech.com, collateral, advertising and public relations programs.
Gapter brings a wealth of experience in high technology distribution and manufacturing marketing to Alternative Technology. Prior to joining Alternative Technology, Gapter was the Global Outbound Marketing Manager for the Knowledge Services Division of Agilent Technologies, in Loveland, Colorado. During her tenure at Agilent, Gapter was selected as a member of the leadership team, a prestigious program designed to develop Agilent’s next generation leaders. From 1990-1999, Gapter worked at Comstor (formerly Data Storage Marketing) in Boulder, Colorado, where she served as Director of Purchasing and Product Marketing.
Nancy Gapter has forged strong relationships with vendors and customers through the development of go-to-market strategies and tactical programs to grow the business.
Gapter is based at Alternative Technology’s corporate headquarters in Englewood, Colorado.
Kathleen Boyles, Senior Director Business Development & Oracle Practice

Kathleen Boyles joined Arrow Electronics in 1987 and she is the Senior Director of Business Development and Oracle Practice. Beginning her career in field sales with the North American Components Group, she was an Inside Sales Manager, National Sales Manager and served as the General Manager for two selling divisions. At the request of the CEO, she developed and managed the Pathways Program, a college-recruitment program that offered a comprehensive one-year training and placement within the Arrow organization.
Kathleen has managed multiple corporate projects including the development of the Arrow global Intranet and a web based partner portal for the ECS Group.
Kathleen recently worked within the ECS HP Group managing a global systems integrator and joined the Alternative Technology Group after the Arrow acquisition in December 2006. She manages the Business Development team and is the executive sponsor for Arrow's Oracle business in North America.
Kathleen is based at the Alternative Technology Group's headquarters in Englewood, CO.
Brian Gilbertson, Director, Field Sales
Brian Gilbertson joined Alternative Technology in July 2003 as Regional Manager for the Eastern Region. In 2004 he was promoted to Regional Director for the Eastern Region and later that year took over the Canadian Region as well. Brian now leads and directs the field sales efforts for both US and Canada.
Brian brings vast knowledge and understanding of the European distribution model. Prior to joining the company, Brian founded Gilbertson and Associates which was a consulting group that specialized in assisting Manufacturers from Europe and the Scandinavian countries bring their products to the US marketplace. Brian served as National Sales Director of the Americas for i-data international, a Denmark-based company that specialized in printing solutions for mainframe, as400 and secure printing technologies. Brian also was the Director of Sales for the Americas and the UK for Castelle, a Santa Clara based Print and Fax Server manufacturer. He started his career in technology industry as VP of Sales for Reykjavik, Iceland based Traffic Software, a software based Fax Server manufacturer. Prior to the move to the technology industry Mr. Gilbertson was the President and co-founder of GALGIL Inc., an investment company that owned and operated several restaurants, numerous consumer trade shows.
