Arrow ECS Launches Program to Help Former LeftHand Networks Resellers Sell HP Solutions
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (May 28, 2009) – Introducing former LeftHand Networks resellers to HP products and PartnerONE partner program resources and tools is the aim of a new program launched by Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions, a business segment of Arrow Electronics Inc. [NYSE: ARW].
As a result of HP’s acquisition of LeftHand Networks in 2008, the former LeftHand resellers are transitioning to HP’s PartnerONE partner program. Arrow ECS is supporting the migration by assigning a dedicated transition team to provide education, training and services for the former LeftHand resellers to help with the transition to HP’s channel program and better enable them to sell HP products. Arrow ECS is a long-time distributor for LeftHand Networks and HP solutions in North America, the U.K. and Denmark.

The activities are part of Arrow ECS’ PowerStart program, which is offered to all North American resellers when they begin selling HP solutions through Arrow ECS. The program includes assistance in attaining the authorizations and certifications to continue selling LeftHand Networks solutions through HP along with other solutions in HP’s portfolio.
Arrow ECS is connecting resellers with marketing campaigns promoting HP solutions; introducing them to key contacts within HP’s channel organization; and providing presales, engineering and technical team training for HP solutions. Arrow ECS is providing similar training and support to current HP resellers, enabling them to sell HP LeftHand solutions.
As a result of these efforts, dozens of former LeftHand Networks resellers in North America have completed the PowerStart program and are now HP Storage Select Authorized business partners. Arrow ECS is currently working with more than 100 others who are in the final stages of the program.
