Alternative Technology Celebrates Successful 1st Annual Customer Summit


Denver, Colorado, November 13, 2002 – Alternative Technology, North America’s premiere value added specialty technology distributor today announced a successful 1st Annual Customer Summit. Alternative Technology has been the leading distributor specializing in the Server Based Computing, Infrastructure/Edge, Security, and Management product solutions for more then 16 years.

Alternative Technology hosted their event this past October in Vail, Colorado with more then 120 attendees representing a mix of vendors, customers, and personnel. The theme for the 1st Annual Customer Summit was "Creating Solutions for Seasons to Come" – a perfect explanation of what VARs were able to accomplish over the course of three days.

The Customer Summit was an exclusive invitation only event and limited to 75 top VARs to ensure extensive interaction among the attendees. The Customer Summit was a high-level executive event for which Alternative Technology requested only Director, Vice-President, or C-Level representation from all attendees. As top executives, they were able to discuss the challenges they have faced in the past, their vision for the future and how they could achieve their goals by complimenting one another.
