CSA Program Requirements

New Dates: This should clarify the changes to the CSA Program requirements, certifications, and compliance that have occurred over the last year. A Channel Flash will be sent to Citrix partners in the next two weeks. Here is the information.

  • XP certs will be accepted through 12/31/2006.
  • 3.0 certs will be accepted through 12/31/2007.
  • 4.0 certs will be accepted through 12/31/2008.
  • Multiple product certifications is acceptable and common for CSAs.

Authorization Levels

Silver Partners Requirements:

1 technical certification and 1 sales certification. They may be authorized for more than one product. Some examples:

  • Silver partner wants to sell Access Suite
    • Minimum technical cert is (1) CCEA
    • Minimum sales cert is (1) CCSP
  • Silver partner wants to sell XenApp (Presentation Server)
    • Minimum technical cert is (1) CCA on PS4.0
    • Minimum sales cert is (1) CTX1612BW
  • Silver partner wants to sell Access Essentials
    • Minimum technical cert (CTX03A serves as Technical and sales cert for Access Essentials)
    • Minimum sales cert is CTX-03A
Gold Partners are Required to Have:

2 technical certifications and 3 sales certifications to be compliant, and to enjoy full program benefits. We no longer require Gold partners to complete the CCEA and CCSP certifications unless they want to sell the Access Suite product.

They may be authorized for more than one product. Some examples:

  • Gold partner wants to sell PS 4.0 and Access Gateway
    • Minimum Technical certs are (1) CCA PS4.0 and (1) CTX1307
    • Minimum Sales certs are (1) CTX 1612BW, (1) CTX1613 and a third sales cert of their choice (CAE, CAG, PS 4.0, etc.)
  • Gold partner wants to sell the Access Suite
    • Minimum technical certs are (1) CCEA, and (1) technical cert of their choice (CCEA, CAE, CAG, PS 4.0, etc).
    • Minimum sales certs are (1) CCSP, and (2) sales certs of their choice (CCSP, CAE, CAG, PS 4.0, etc.)
Platinum partners are required to have:

4 technical certifications (one must be a CCEA) and 6 sales certifications (one must be a CCSP) to be compliant, and to enjoy full program benefits. They may be authorized for more than one product. Some examples:

  • Platinum partner wants to sell Access Suite and NetScaler
    • Minimum technical certs are (1) CCEA, (1) BOA, and (2) technical certs of their choice(CCEA, CAE, CAG, PS 4.0, etc)
    • Minimum sales certs are (1) CCSP, and (5) sales certs of their choice (CCSP, CAE, CAG, PS 4.0, etc.)
  • Platinum partner wants to sell the Access Suite
    • Minimum technical certs are (1) CCEA and (3) technical certs of their choice (CCEA, CAE, CAG, PS 4.0, etc)
    • Minimum sales certs are (1) CCSP and (5) sales certs of their choice (CCSP, CAE, CAG, PS 4.0, etc.)
