Enterprise Security Reporter is a fast, agent-less, comprehensive discovery and reporting solution for compliance reviews and security audits. Version 3.0 introduces a new intuitive user interface, faster discovery, security snapshot “delta” comparisons and highly customizable reporting. As a result, Enterprise Security Reporter facilitates a fast, effective process for companies to scrutinize and report on Windows security, preventing data theft, protecting confidential records and meeting regulatory requirements.
Enterprise Security Reporter snapshots the security settings on files, folders, file shares and other resources, and captures local and global user and group information from a central location without installing agents on target servers. Performance enhancements in 3.0 result in the capture of security information up to 5 times faster than before, and distributed discovery engines reduce bandwidth for discovery at remote sites. Furthermore, the report customization features mean that an IT administrator can customize and create new reports in minutes, where they might previously have required days of custom development.

• Fast, bandwidth-friendly capture of security information from geographically-dispersed servers. The ability to centrally install and manage discovery engines on servers at remote locations dramatically improves the performance of Enterprise Security Reporter across WAN connections.
• Insight into changes over time. The new “delta comparison” option clearly shows the differences between two Enterprise Security Reporter snapshots taken at different times, highlighting changes in security and addition/removal of users, groups, computers and other resources in Active Directory.
• Central reports database
Reports are stored in a central SQL database so multiple administrators can share frequently-used files, or take copies into their own personal caches for further customization
