Alternative Technology to Distribute MX Logic Web Defense Services Powered by Blue Coat technology
Two Alternative Technology Vendors work together to sell managed Web filtering and threat protection services through channel partners.
Englewood, CO., October 4, 2006 – Alternative Technology, the leading specialty distributor of security and access infrastructure solutions, announced that it will distribute the The MX LogicSM Web Defense Service through its network of resellers in the USA and Canada. Powered by industry-leading technology from Blue Coat Systems®, the MX Logic Web Defense Service comprises two core offerings - Threat Control and Content Control, which can be sold individually or combined as Total Control. All Web Defense Service packages can be combined with the MX Logic® Email Defense Service for comprehensive defense against online threats.
MX Logic Inc., a leading managed services provider of easy-to-use email and Web defense solutions for small and medium-sized businesses, launched its managed Web filtering and threat protection service this week. The new service marks a major expansion in the company’s service portfolio by providing businesses with Web content filtering and protection from spyware, adware, viruses, keylogging and phishing attacks.
One of the most notable features of the MX Logic Web Defense Service is its user interface, the MX Control ConsoleSM, which is easy for system administrators to configure and manage, yet granular and robust enough to track and provide critical details about Web use in the work place that managers demand. The MX Control Console is also the entry point for managing the MX Logic Email Defense Service, so customers who purchase both services can enjoy a single, integrated console from which to manage user accounts, configure settings, and interact with Web and email threat reports.
