Blue Coat products address two rapidly-growing markets—Secure Web Gateway and WAN Optimization. The primary objective of the Blue Coat Systems Partner Program is to achieve joint success in today’s competitive global economy by providing compelling top- and bottom-line growth opportunities to our partners. Blue Coat’s partners benefit from collaborative activities, including co-marketing initiatives, education, technical tools, and cooperative sales planning. Our flexible partner programs and resources allow partners to choose the style of commitment that best suits their business needs.
Blue Coat offers four levels of partnership—Authorized, Premier, Elite and Global—accessible to resellers based on their core capabilities, commitment to collaborative practices with Blue Coat, and investment in technical training.

The Authorized Partner level is ideal for resellers who want to get to know Blue Coat and its security solutions before making a larger commitment. Authorized partners receive access to the BlueSource Partner portal and a subscription to the monthly partner newsletter. |
Premier Partners are organizations that have achieved success in delivering Blue Coat security solutions to the end user community. Premier Partners have several certified Blue Coat security specialists on the team to provide technical assistance, as well as access to an extensive database of sales and marketing tools. |
Elite Partners have an excellent reputation within the market for delivering superior customer service and technical assistance. Elite Partners work closely with Blue Coat to develop business plans to further the reach of products and services. In addition, they have several Blue Coat specialists, certified in both WAN Optimization and Security. This level provides access to a wealth of sales and marketing resources, technical support, and services. |
Global Partners commit to the highest level of strategic partnership with Blue Coat. By becoming a Global Partner, they are committing to a significant revenue target per year, as well as working in conjunction with Blue Coat to develop an annual business plan. In return, they receive substantial margins on all Blue Coat products and services. Global Partners receive access to the highest level of information, including qualified sales leads, sales and marketing information, and technical resources. |
