The new ThinPrint .print Branch Office Box is an ISA appliance that connects remote offices quickly and easily and optimizes Wide Area Networks. In cooperation with Microsoft, ThinPrint developed a small but powerful box that, thanks to a preinstalled ISA server 2006 from Microsoft and the ThinPrint .print technology, is plug-and-play and can be used both as a print server and as a firewall or even a web filter. The robust, compact, and fanless design of the ThinPrint Branch Office Box allows its use both directly on a desk and in an industrial environment.
The ThinPrint Branch Office Box benefits small to middle-sized businesses. With this appliance it is now possible to eliminate the use of a separate server in remote offices but still have all of the advantages of the ISA Server 2006 at a low cost and with minimal installation overhead.
The perfectly integrated and preconfigured .print technology offers central management of the printers in the remote offices. All .print features, from bandwidth control to DRIVER FREE PRINTING to adaptive compression, can be used in a snap with this inexpensive hardware in branch offices. If the ThinPrint Branch Office Box is used both in the remote office and at the data center, both devices can communicate with each other and synchronize the printer objects.
