Virtualization Solution Kits

Small and medium businesses and companies with remote offices want to deploy comprehensive virtualization solutions to meet their business needs. A single physical server failure now brings down multiple applications. VMware High Availability (HA) addresses such a need, but VMware HA requires shared storage (NAS, SAN). LeftHand Networks’ Virtual SAN Appliance for VMware® ESX (VSA) provides a cost-effective shared storage solution via a redundant SAN with automated failover that uses the ESX Server  captive disks as the SAN storage pool. The Virtualization Solution Kits, which consists of the VSA and VMware Infrastructure, address the need for a highly available virtual infrastructure that is more affordable, easy to manage, and has a smaller footprint.

What are Virtualization Solution Kits?

The Virtualization Solution Kits are bundled offerings from Alternative Technology that extend the value of VMware’s VI Acceleration Kits by adding shared storage or a Virtual SAN via LeftHand Networks Virtual SAN Appliance (VSA) for VMware® ESX.
